About The Position

CVP is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Tool Administrator to join our Endpoint Security Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of enterprise security and asset management tools, with a strong foundation in Windows systems and infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT environment by managing and supporting the platforms that protect it.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship Required)
  • 3+ years of system administration; Experience with Microsoft Server OS and Windows 11 required
  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk application control
  • Experience administering Axonius or similar asset intelligence platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Familiarity with DNS, IP addressing, and common TCP ports
  • Comfort with standard application installation procedures across the enterprise
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to install and manage applications on Linux and MacOS
  • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, AZ-104, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise security tools, with a primary focus on CyberArk application control and Axonius asset intelligence
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 11 endpoints
  • Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across the enterprise
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical services
  • Plan and implement system updates, patches, and security fixes
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues in support of security tool operations
  • Maintain system documentation, including tool configurations, procedures, and runbooks
  • Support backup and disaster recovery operations
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to support infrastructure and security projects
