About The Position

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied. This role involves developing security devices installation plans, defining safety levels, and overseeing security-related installations. The specialist will also develop and implement security policies, monitor surveillance systems, manage security budgets, and recruit and train security staff. Conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and maintaining a secure environment are key responsibilities. Collaboration with law enforcement and other departments, as well as conducting security awareness training and developing emergency response plans, are also crucial aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in security management, preferably in a plant or industrial setting, or a bachelor's degree in security management or a related field
  • Experience establishing plant security protocols and plans and Strong knowledge of security best practices and risk management.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising experience for security officers and guards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • More than one year of law enforcement experience
  • Good understanding of the Security and Access H/W
  • Good understanding of the Security Camera and Access system
  • IT & network knowledge
  • Essential Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies.
  • Familiarity with surveillance and alarm systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Developing the security devices installation plan, defining the safety level of each area, and following up on all security-related installations
  • Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Controlling budgets for security operations
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising security staff and vendors, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and devise measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Investigate security incidents and promptly report findings to management.
  • Maintain a secure environment for plant assets and minimize potential security breaches.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to enhance plant security.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
  • Conduct security awareness training for all employees and contractors.
  • Develop emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
