About The Position

Unlimited Technology is a premier cyber and physical security specialty contractor experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking a Security Technician to manage all aspects of access control and IP Camera products and systems at client sites. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers. This role involves installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices, power supplies, and network components, while also collaborating with subcontractors and clients.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
Experience in Audio Visual Technology
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well and interact with other UT employees as well as UT customers.
Strong work ethic and teamwork; “can do” attitude and desire to provide best service.
Strong interpersonal and communicative Skills.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in Software House and Genetec a plus
Certifications in American Dynamics, Bosch and / or other products a plus

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of access control and IP Camera products and systems installed at client sites.
Independently install, program, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies, and all network components.
Communicate effectively with the Field Supervisor and present a knowledgeable and engaging image to customers.
Make sound decisions that are in the best interest of the project, the customer, and Unlimited Technology.
Work closely with subcontractors and customers.
Install and service Access Control and IP Camera systems according to engineered drawings.
Program, terminate, and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.
Identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity.
Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
Communicate all activity to the job Project Manager or Field Supervisor in a timely manner.
Maintain the condition and cleanliness of any company provided vehicle.
Attend any product or safety training that is required.
