About The Position

Superior Alarm Systems (SAS) is seeking a senior Security Technician IV to join their growing Bay Area team. This role serves as the senior technical authority on commercial installation projects, owning the field from mobilization to closeout. The Technician IV will plan, sequence, and coordinate installation activities for crews of Tech I-III, partner with Project Managers on scheduling and risk identification, and proactively identify and resolve scope gaps, schedule risks, or quality issues. The position involves hands-on technical work, including advanced installation of integrated security systems (access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, specialty devices), low-voltage cabling, and commissioning/validation of Genetec, Lenel, and/or Bosch systems. The Technician IV must interpret and work from engineered drawings, system schematics, and project specifications, ensuring all work meets SAS quality standards before inspection or customer turnover. This role requires enforcing best practices, conducting quality audits, and accurately documenting work in SAS project tracking systems.
