About The Position

Force Security Solutions, a subsidiary of Konica Minolta Business Solutions, provides the highest level of Electronic Security including Intrusion Detection, Access Control and IP Video Surveillance technology. The role involves conducting security assessments and audits for clients to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and security needs. It also includes developing customized security solutions and recommendations based on assessment findings, and collaborating with clients to implement security measures such as physical security, electronic surveillance, access control systems, and security policies and procedures. The consultant will provide expertise and guidance on security best practices and industry standards, and conduct security training sessions for clients' staff members as needed. Staying updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the security industry is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients at all levels.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background test, drug test, and clean driving record is required.
  • Ability to travel (with own transportation) to client sites within the greater Washington DC area and occasionally beyond.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • 3+ years of experience in security consulting, risk assessment, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., criminal justice, security management) preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus
