Under the supervision of the Director I - School Safety and Security, the Security Surveillance Analyst will monitor and help maintain the security surveillance equipment within the school district. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring all security technology, including updating system software, organizing and assembling security systems technology (CCTV monitors, cameras, DVRs), and performing hardware updates and installations. The analyst will review security/surveillance camera footage to assist administrators and law enforcement with investigations, create identification cards, and monitor CCTV cameras live from a central location. Additionally, the role involves monitoring social media for potential threats, interpreting and communicating security directives, and assisting with the acquisition of new hardware and software systems. The position requires a general understanding of security operations, effective communication skills, and proficiency with various security technologies.
