About The Position

Baptist Health is a leading healthcare provider in Northeast Florida, recognized as a top place to work. They are seeking a Security Support Specialist to join their Baptist South team. This is a part-time, nights position requiring work on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with flexibility for occasional Monday through Friday coverage from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Level II Background check (detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will be required as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Security Officer Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides logistical and technical support to the Safety & Security department by running the visitor management systems.
• Assists Security Officers with investigations by reviewing video surveillance systems and access control logs.
• Assists with access controls systems & checking in visitors.
• Creates badges for the system.
• Conducts fire extinguisher inspections.
• Performs data entry for parking violations and supports the Safety & Security department as directed by the Executive Director of Safety & Security.
