About The Position

The Program Security Administrator is responsible for managing personnel security functions, overseeing secure systems, and providing COMSEC support. This role involves maintaining a Top Secret Control Account for multiple programs and contracts, performing personnel security clearance coordination and processing, and interacting directly with customer personnel security representatives. The administrator will also work with computer systems and secure networks, potentially serving as an assistant COMSEC manager or managing Secret level networks. Proficiency in personnel security databases used by the DoD and IC, such as DISS and JADE, is required, as is the ability to manage and generate reports from internal databases like SIMS. The role includes generating monthly personnel security metrics, assisting with classified courier and visitor escorting, document destruction, and preparing continuity books. Additionally, the administrator will support Program Security Officers with program security-related materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JADE, SIMS, DISS and additional Personnel Security tools
  • Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SAP Directives, and Supplement
  • Information system security experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a Top Secret Control Account for multiple programs and contracts

  • Manage and generate reports from internal personnel security databases (i.e. SIMS)
  • Generate and maintain monthly personnel security metrics charts
  • Occasionally assist with classified courier and visitor escorting and document destruction duties
  • Prepare and maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
  • Assist Program Security Officers with generating and presenting program security related material
