About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a cleared security professional to protect classified, proprietary, and sensitive information and information systems in secure environments, including SCIFs, SAP-Fs, Closed Areas, and Program Areas. The role safeguards these areas by enforcing security procedures, preventing unauthorized items such as electronics and cell phones from entering, and promptly reporting activity that could put information or systems at risk of compromise or loss.

The position escorts uncleared personnel—including contractors, employees, and third-party support teams—while they perform construction, upgrades, repairs, or other project work in secure areas. The Security Support professional ensures customer requirements concerning uncleared personnel are met and documented, provides security briefings and orientations, and coordinates schedules and daily plans with internal and external project supervisors. Flexibility is required to adapt to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a post-secondary/associate degree and at least 2 years of prior related experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with an in-scope SSBI date and CI polygraph.
• Must voluntarily participate in the sponsor’s polygraph program.

Responsibilities

• Protect and safeguard information and information systems within secure or sensitive areas, including SCIFs, SAP-Fs, Closed Areas, and Program Areas.
• Escort uncleared contractors, L3Harris employees, and third parties supporting construction, upgrades, repairs, or other activities in secure areas.
• Ensure customer requirements regarding uncleared personnel in secure areas are met and documented.
• Report activity that could place classified, proprietary, or sensitive information or information systems at risk of compromise or loss.
• Coordinate work schedules and daily plans with internal and external project supervisors.
• Provide work-area security briefings and orientations to uncleared personnel.
• Prevent unauthorized items, including electronics and cell phones, from entering secure or sensitive areas.
• Adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
