The Security Supervisor ensures optimum guest service through excellent customer service and works effectively with all departments to provide efficient security support. The position involves researching and formulating policies and procedures, conducting in-depth confidential investigations to protect company assets, reputation, and business integrity, and presenting analysis and reports to senior management. The role also focuses on establishing and maintaining a progressive and empowered workforce, training, counseling, and coaching personnel, preparing performance reviews, and recommending personnel changes including hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination. Wage and salary adjustments are also recommended. The Security Supervisor maintains professional skills by staying abreast of technical developments and participating in developmental programs. This includes interviewing, selecting, and training employees, providing for safety and security, and handling employee complaints or grievances. The role monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws, participates in the development of key assumptions and critical documents, and continually evaluates and monitors activity and financial performance to ensure goals are achieved. Communication, both written and oral, with the department and senior management is essential. The Security Supervisor will attend Hearings at Federal and State Courts for Guest Liability Claims and act as a liaison with various government departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Works, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher is required. Adherence to attendance guidelines, regulatory, departmental, and company policies is mandatory. The Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction, must be followed. Participation in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions is expected. The ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team is crucial. The role requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, respond to visual and aural cues, and maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance. Compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures is required. The position requires a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends, with the ability to work overtime when required. Other duties as assigned will be performed.
