About The Position

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security operations within the casino, ensuring compliance with gaming laws and regulations, and managing security personnel. This role involves identifying and removing excluded individuals, reporting security incidents, assisting with staff management, and responding to emergencies. The supervisor also plays a key role in guest safety, particularly concerning alcohol consumption and transportation services.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a high volume business or industry, preferably in the hospitality business.
  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
  • Must complete all required company training.

  • Working knowledge of CMS system including but not limited to the following: Cage, Pit, Credit, Marketing, Players Club, Player Tracking menus and Self-Exclusion display.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and remove individuals required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility, or who are self-excluded.
  • Provide immediate notice to supervisors, casino compliance representatives, and the Pennsylvania State Police upon detecting excluded or self-excluded individuals.
  • Complete annual Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 training.
  • Assist the Security & Facilities Manager with hiring, interviewing, and organizing training for adequate staffing.
  • Assist with issuing progressive discipline and terminations of staff.
  • Produce reports and/or spreadsheets of Security activities.
  • Supervise Security employees who report directly to this position.
  • Assist with Security Officer duties and responsibilities when necessary.
  • Utilize knowledge of the CMS system, including Cage, Pit, Credit, Marketing, Players Club, Player Tracking menus, and Self-Exclusion display.
  • Observe and evaluate possibly intoxicated guests.
  • Remove possibly intoxicated guests from the property, ensuring they do not drive off property.
  • Assume overall command and control of emergency response procedures in the absence of the Security & Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure guests do not depart the property impaired by alcohol.
  • Supervise Valet employees in the absence of the Valet/Transaction Supervisor.
  • Review staffing levels and control costs daily, reflecting business levels to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of valet and transportation staff, providing coaching and counseling.
  • Manage time-keeping, payroll, and staffing levels for the department.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, local government, and gaming laws, including applicable OSHA regulations.
  • Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
