The Security Supervisor is responsible for identifying and removing individuals who are required to be excluded or ejected from the licensed facility, or who are self-excluded from gaming activities. This role involves providing immediate notice to supervisors and compliance representatives upon detecting such individuals. The position also requires completing annual Anti-Money Laundering/Title 31 training and assisting the Security & Facilities Manager with hiring, interviewing, training, progressive discipline, and terminations. The Security Supervisor will produce reports on security activities, supervise direct reports, and assist with Security Officer duties when necessary. A working knowledge of the CMS system, including specific menus, is required. The role involves observing and evaluating possibly intoxicated guests, removing them from the property, and ensuring they do not drive off-site. In the absence of the Security & Facilities Manager, the Security Supervisor assumes command of emergency response procedures. This position also ensures guests do not depart impaired by alcohol, supervises Valet employees in the absence of the Valet/Transaction Supervisor, and reviews staffing levels daily to control costs and ensure guest satisfaction. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and performance of valet and transportation staff, including coaching and counseling, as well as managing timekeeping, payroll, and staffing levels for the department. Knowledge of federal, state, local government, and gaming laws, including OSHA regulations, is necessary. Any other assigned duties and responsibilities may also be part of this role.
