About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and customers. The Security Supervisor will lead a team, manage incidents, and implement security protocols. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age.
Clear a criminal background check.
High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of three (3) years of professional security experience in a retail, commercial, or public setting.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in incident reporting, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.
Ability to operate and monitor security systems, CCTV, and access control equipment.
Knowledge of emergency procedures, evacuation protocols, and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform patrols across large areas, including stairs and parking structures.
Capable of responding rapidly to incidents and emergencies.
Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs and respond to emergencies as required.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.

Nice To Haves

Additional coursework or certifications in security management, criminal justice, or emergency response.
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

Oversee security operations.

Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV, and access control equipment.
Conduct patrols across large areas, including stairs and parking structures.
Respond rapidly to incidents and emergencies.
Perform duties within the facility, which may include pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting up to 25 lbs for event evacuation, and stair climbing.
Sit, twist, turn, and bend as required to perform duties within the facility.
Stand for long periods of time.
