Join our team in Amangiri. We are seeking a Security Supervisor to join Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah. Reporting to the Director of Security, you will oversee the daily operations of the Security team while ensuring the safety of our guests, colleagues, and property. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on support in patrolling, monitoring, and maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in security or a related field.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and emergency response.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Physical ability to perform patrols and security duties across varied terrain and climate conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Security team and oversee day-to-day departmental operations.
  • Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of Security colleagues.
  • Monitor CCTV and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Patrol property areas by foot or vehicle to ensure guest and colleague safety.
  • Prepare and review incident reports, maintaining accurate departmental records.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and liaise with police, fire, or medical personnel.
  • Enforce resort safety and security policies, addressing violations appropriately.
  • Conduct inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure secure facilities.
  • Support Safety Committee initiatives, meetings, and departmental SOP development.
  • Deliver orientation and safety presentations as required.
