About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its patrons. The role involves both supervisory duties and the performance of security officer tasks as needed. The company reserves the right to modify, supplement, delete, or augment duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Clear a criminal background check.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
• Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
• Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing.
• Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility.
• Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Minimum 2 years in the security industry.
• Experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, and access control systems is required.
• Must be willing to perform the duties of a Security Officer in addition to supervisory responsibilities.
• State Guard License required.
• Must meet and maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with clients across diverse cultures.
• Organizational skills.
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, logs, and reports.
• Professional composure in handling unusual or challenging situations.
• Must maintain a professional image and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year in a supervisory role.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
