Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Clear a criminal background check.
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)
  • Strong customer service orientation, exemplifying our Mission Statement that Customer Service is Every Employee's Job.
  • Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
  • Pushing/pulling/carrying lifting may include up to 25 lbs (event evacuation), stair climbing.
  • Ability to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties within the facility.
  • Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, and access control systems is required
  • State Guard License required
  • Must meet and maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with clients across diverse cultures
  • Organizational skills and ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years in the security industry, with 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred)
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Must be willing to perform the duties of a Security Officer in addition to supervisory responsibilities
  • Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, logs, and reports
  • Professional composure in handling unusual or challenging situations
  • Must maintain a professional image and demonstrate strong leadership skills
