About The Position
The Security Supervisor is responsible for performing security patrols, checking badges and IDs, and protecting company property from various threats. This role ensures that unauthorized individuals do not enter company premises and intervenes to prevent workplace violence. The supervisor will investigate and record security-related incidents, collaborate in training new officers, and report all findings to management. Additional duties include receiving and transferring calls, managing package deliveries, releasing and weighing trucks, and monitoring camera footage.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- No criminal record, with ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening required.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- technical training preferred.
- Military, security and/or law enforcement experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols.
- Check Badges and IDs.
- Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, etc.
- Ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter company premises.
- Prevent workplace violence and intervene in such circumstances.
- Investigate and record accidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security related situations.
- Collaborate in training efforts for newly hired officers.
- Report all security related incidents to management.
- Receive and transfer inbound calls.
- Receive and sign for FedEx and UPS packages.
- Release and weighs trucks.
- Monitor camera footage.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
