Security Specialist - Part Time
About The Position
The Security Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor to ensure that SIS standards and policies are met in field services, operations, and functions within the assigned area. Duties may include site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects. All duties must be performed in accordance with client policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. The role is based in Dayton, New Jersey, and is part-time. The Security Specialist helps provide a safe, professional environment for client employees and guests through escorts, foot patrols, and prompt responses to incidents. The role also requires representing the company and client professionally and maintaining uniform and grooming standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Complete and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by state law.
- Maintain all certifications requested by the client.
- Interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
- Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and professional work environment for the client's employees and guests.
- Provide escorts and conduct foot patrols to secure the assigned post.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Represent the company, client, and self in a professional manner with a positive attitude.
- Perform assigned duties such as site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects in accordance with client policies and applicable regulations.
