Weekend Security Specialist - Westport
About The Position
Securitas is hiring weekend Security Specialists in Westport, Connecticut. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior security experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit. Available schedules are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The position pays $25.00 per hour, with weekly pay, competitive benefits, and flexible schedules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security experience is preferred.
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
