About The Position

Security Specialist with extensive experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) security programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and safeguarding classified information. Skilled in personnel, physical, and information security, conducting security investigations, managing clearance processes, and implementing risk mitigation strategies while maintaining mission readiness.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent military or technical school and five years specifically related work experience in the NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields
Formal training such as successful completion of the Industrial Security Management Course
Knowledgeable with the rules and regulations of the National Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM) pertaining to all aspects of security
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proficient operating personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software
Database management experience
Familiar with a standard intel computer system, laminating machine and professional instamatic camera
Qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
U.S. citizenship
