About The Position

City Security Services (CSS) is hiring Special Response Officers in Houston, Texas, for a security role covering multiple client sites. Officers select one of four defined availability schedules rather than being on call 24/7. These are required availability windows, not guaranteed scheduled work hours; overnight windows end the following day. The program includes paid shadowing and training at different sites, a weekly minimum-pay guarantee subject to program terms, access to 35 free certification training programs, and first consideration for available overtime assignments subject to qualifications and staffing needs. Officers who participate for at least six months may receive priority consideration for lead officer and supervisor opportunities. Pay is $16 per hour, with advertised weekly minimum-pay examples of $290 for 0–20 hours worked, $480 for 30 hours, and $640 for 40 hours, before taxes; overtime is paid when applicable.
