About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a casual Special Response/Flex Security Officer whose assignments vary by day and special event. The officer must adapt to changing missions and may perform customer service, patrols, surveillance, and other security duties. The role covers locations in San Francisco, Oakland, Mill Valley, and San Rafael, and requires the ability to commute up to 30+ miles. Applicants must be fully flexible and available any day of the week and on any shift—day, swing, or overnight—as scheduling needs vary. The hourly wage is $19–$33. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift, including day, swing, or overnight, as needed.
• Be able to commute up to 30+ miles and drive to San Francisco, Oakland, Mill Valley, and San Rafael.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification; it may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• A California BSIS Guard Card and an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
