About The Position

Join a dynamic and growing security team overseeing, implementing and providing Security guidance in support of BAE Systems Enterprise programs executed out of the Nashua, NH facility. This position provides support across several Business Areas within BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems Sector. As a Program Security Specialist, you will work closely with security & program management, all levels of leadership, and both internal and external customers to support a variety of interesting and dynamic programs. This role provides onsite support for Enterprise program environments. The candidate must exercise discretion and independent judgement in performing the following tasks: Interpret and enforce government and internal company security policies and provide direction and guidance to employees. Develop and implement security plans and procedures utilizing the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD SAP Manual 5205.07, and any other applicable programmatic instruction manuals. Fully understand and implement program security requirements. Ensure applicable training requirements compliance. Coordinate access management control for onboarding and offboarding programs and personnel Assist with facility construction and continued accreditation requirements. Provide classification guidance to employees, develop and provide security education and awareness training, conduct security briefings, assist with security self-inspections and audits, and investigate security incidents. Complete appropriate documentation according to company and government directives. Assist with cognizant agency security reviews, visits, formal self-inspections, and Staff Assistance Visits (internal audits). Additional duties/tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals.
  • Excels at organizing, prioritizing, and executing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment.
  • Customer focused, excellent communicator (written and verbal), and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.
