Lead the security team and manage day-to-day security operations to protect the client’s people, property, and assets, in line with Securitas policies and site instructions. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s customers. Requirements

  • Experience in security, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and incident-handling skills.
  • Able to work shifts and perform patrols; holds required local security licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise security officers and daily deployment (rosters, posts, breaks).
  • Oversee core security tasks: access control, patrols, alarm response, monitoring, and incident handling
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules, fire and emergency procedures, and correct use of PPE
  • Conduct site inductions, support training, and coach officers on professional conduct and safe working.
  • Act as main contact for the client, handle day-to-day issues, and support audits/inspections.
  • Maintain accurate incident and activity reports and escalate issues when needed.
