The Security Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). This role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor notifies proper authorities and the client in emergency situations. They also coach and discipline personnel as appropriate, seeking advice from company management when needed, and documenting all actions. Training of Security Officers and other personnel is a key responsibility, including reviewing post orders and assignment details. The supervisor assists in submitting payroll and personnel information, and in conjunction with management, ensures adequate post coverage. They prepare, file, and submit various reports, inspect posts, and meet with subordinates to outline tasks. Client interaction is also important, meeting with representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. As assigned, the supervisor carries out duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and making hiring and termination recommendations. The role may also involve performing the duties of a Security Officer.
