This role is responsible for the performance of all shifts and Security Officers on duty. The Security Site Supervisor must have a working knowledge and understanding of the Specific and General Post instructions for post(s), as well as practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client. The supervisor will patrol assigned posts by walking or using a company-provided vehicle where applicable, and conduct inspections of posts and Security Officers for proper compliance with post orders and company procedures. They will inform supervisors of matters that cannot wait until the next workday, record daily events on Officers Daily Reports (ODR), and register at watch stations to record inspection times. The role also involves assisting in on-the-job training for new officers, responding to urgent client needs, and properly notifying authorities of emergency situations or post order violations. Additionally, the supervisor will examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security and warn or expel individuals violating rules or engaging in suspicious acts. The position receives general direction from higher-level supervisors and exercises direct supervision over Security Officers and Shift Supervisors, providing operational input to management.
