About The Position

The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for controlling all inbound and outbound traffic, verifying identification, enforcing security policies, and maintaining accurate logs. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The supervisor will monitor CCTV, conduct vehicle inspections, respond to emergencies, and complete incident reports, all while providing exceptional customer service and upholding client policies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if operating a company vehicle).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency for electronic reporting.
  • Ability to accurately verify identification and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while enforcing security policies.
  • Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous security, military, law enforcement, logistics, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Previous security, military, law enforcement, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Control all inbound and outbound truck, employee, and visitor traffic.
  • Verify identification and credentials before granting access.
  • Enforce a strict no-identification, no-entry policy with no exceptions.
  • Inspect shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and delivery documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written gate logs.
  • Communicate professionally with drivers, employees, and site management.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious or unauthorized activity immediately.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections when required by site procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and follow all site security protocols.
  • Perform routine patrols of the gate and surrounding area.
  • Complete detailed incident and activity reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while consistently enforcing client policies.
