About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor for their Lima, OH location. This role is responsible for overseeing security personnel and supporting daily branch and field operations. The Shift Supervisor acts as a liaison between management, security officers, clients, and internal departments to ensure efficient and professional service delivery. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of security experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain or maintain required guard card or security license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, web-based applications, and email
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent report-writing and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to pass criminal, motor vehicle, and client-required background checks
  • Must be available for varying shifts, overtime, schedule changes, and occasional on-call emergencies
  • Must be present in the field or branch office during assigned shifts
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, drive, read reports and computer screens, and remain calm during emergencies
  • Must protect confidential information and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and communicate with field security officers
  • Conduct site inspections and document findings electronically
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, post orders, and safety procedures
  • Respond to call-offs, no-shows, emergencies, and staffing needs
  • Fill open security posts when necessary
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and complete required reports
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, billing, and administrative duties
  • Conduct orientations, training, and onboarding for new employees
  • Participate in recruiting, interviews, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Inspect worksites for safety hazards and service-quality concerns
  • Communicate with clients and management regarding staffing and operations
  • Review and communicate changes to post orders and procedures
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and compliant work environment
