About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate delivery of quality security services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor acts as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role supervises staff on the assigned shift and provides coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The posted pay rate is $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security experience, or prior law enforcement or military experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• For driving positions, a clean driving record: no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• For driving positions, minimum insurance coverage as required by company policy and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
