As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid knowledge is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Monitor visitor access, check in guests, and assist with directing employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of front desk activity, report unusual behavior and/or policy concerns, and document incidents according to post guidelines.
