About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for a part-time position on Swan Island, Portland, Oregon. This role requires previous supervisory experience and focuses on customer service, building meaningful connections, and engaging with people across all shifts and environments. The schedule is set for Fridays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., totaling 16 hours per week. The company offers competitive pay, DailyPay availability, and opportunities for career growth. Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
Pass an extensive screening process.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.
Previous supervisor experience is a must.
Possess Oregon DPSST certification.
Be at least 21 years old.

Nice To Haves

Previous military, law enforcement, or armed guard experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and assign day-to-day responsibilities to the team.
Perform duties such as scheduling, performance reports, continuing in-service training, crew and program evaluation, and disciplinary action.
Maintain a daily log and file incident reports.
Abide by Oregon State law and Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) certification standards.
Commit to further training beyond DPSST certification standards, specifically in de-escalation techniques, mental health crisis response, trauma-informed care interventions, and social service safety net referrals if requested.
