We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill the position of Security Services Investigative Specialist within our Corporate Security group based in Platteville, Colorado.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of security experience.
  • Must possess HR‑218 qualification or be able to obtain qualification within six (6) months of employment.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of physical security principles, practices, and operations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to integrate into the security framework of a large corporation.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond decisively in dynamic situations.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably 10 years of law enforcement experience.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication proficiency.
  • Competence in computer applications.
  • Familiarity with electronic security systems is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in security within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Security Manager within Corporate Security.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee security programs at both domestic and international locations.
  • Manage and supervise contract security services as required.
  • Administer security policies, procedures, and employee security awareness training.
  • Identify potential security threats and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Security team on physical security initiatives.
  • Partners with HR, Legal, and other business units on matters of shared interest.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and respond to incidents on a 24/7 basis.
  • Prepare presentations and engage effectively with senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
