About The Position

As a Security Screener, you will be responsible for screening all guests upon entry to our venues to ensure the safety of patrons, guests, staff, volunteers, and artists. This role involves monitoring the screening process and performing secondary searches when necessary.

• Public Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive 1.5 hours before the performance and set up areas at the Evolv Express locations.
• Monitor the screening process and address any items that are not permitted in our venues.
• Follow Dayton Live’s policies regarding entry into our venues.
• Escalate situations as necessary to managers on duty.
• Provide excellent customer service in difficult situations.
