About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, visitor management protocols, and/or access control processes for the location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access in a professional manner.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, visitors, and/or vendors, and direct them according to front desk procedures and location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other front desk documentation related to security-related activities, deliveries, and/or visitor check-in and check-out.
