About The Position

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Security Project Manager to support our rapidly growing EV Client's Physical Security Operations & Security Systems. This role involves acting as the Physical Security Point of Contact for EV-charging projects from initial concept to final delivery, establishing and maintaining detailed project schedules, and ensuring all security deliverables and installations align with construction timelines. The position requires close collaboration with Security stakeholders to secure approvals, manage project delivery across diverse sites in the US and EMEA regions, and proactively identify and escalate potential blockers with proposed solutions. The Security Project Manager will manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain, analyze and manage critical milestone activities, and ensure the utilization of effective project governance, processes, and systems. The role also involves applying best practices, producing project status reports, monitoring construction projects, managing supplier interfaces, and facilitating project information flow. Additionally, the role includes forecasting project milestones, conducting independent reviews of project documentation, client management to maximize new opportunities, providing strategic advice, and ensuring knowledge management and process improvement. SOX control responsibilities may also be part of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
  • Minimum 5 plus years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Physical Security Point of Contact for EV-charging projects from initial project concept to final delivery.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project schedules. Ensure all security deliverables and installations align with the construction or project delivery timeline, emphasizing cost controls where possible.
  • Work closely with Security stakeholders to secure necessary approvals for designs, risk level identification, security guard planning, and hardware deviations.
  • Ensure all security installations strictly adhere to global physical security standards (e.g., access control, surveillance, perimeter security, and monitoring).
  • Manage project delivery across diverse sites within the US and EMEA regions.
  • Proactively identify potential blockers and escalate issues to leadership with proposed solutions.
  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittments, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities
  • Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
