About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Hospital Security Officer in Conroe, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. The role combines customer service, communication, and routine patrols to support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The officer monitors assigned areas, remains visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and works within a team guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

The position pays $20.05 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Friday through Monday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following security procedures and location-specific policies and carrying out appropriate emergency responses.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help control access, observe visitor activity, and report security concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, following company standards and site-specific guidelines.
