About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a warehouse assignment in Hialeah, Florida. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out site-specific safety and security procedures, access control, customer service, patrols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Duties include receiving shipment trucks at a commercial gatehouse and entering information into a computer before granting access. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $17.25 per hour. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Requirements

Hold a valid Florida Security D License.
Have security experience.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
At the commercial gatehouse, receive shipment trucks and input information into the computer before granting access.
Perform access control.
Conduct golf cart patrols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
