About The Position

Seeking a part-time security professional for a night shift position. This role involves 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM in a clean, professional corporate setting located in the far west Glendale area, near the 303. The position requires a current Arizona unarmed guard card, a driver's license, and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of security or military experience with a solid work history, possess strong professional and de-escalation skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team, handling issues independently and under stress.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of security experience and/or military experience
• Solid work history as a security professional
• Current Arizona unarmed guard card
• Driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a corporate setting
• Ability to handle issues without a supervisor and under stress
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to de-escalate issues
• Ability to work well as a team

Responsibilities

• Patrolling on foot and using a security cart
• Working at a desk inside
• Checking badges and access control
• Monitoring cameras
• Using two-way radios and Silvertrac
• Checking doors and gates for security
• Assisting with emergencies as needed
• Assisting visitors and vendors
• Issuing badges, access control, and badge control/audit
• Posting at a gate to ensure employee safety and enforce badging
• Watching for theft and vandalism
• Maintaining vigilance at all times
• Handling issues without a supervisor and under stress
