About The Position

KRE Security LLC is seeking a confident, professional, and people-friendly Security Officer for a seasonal assignment at a local convenience store in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The role provides a visible security presence and helps maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and property. The officer will interact frequently with the public, communicate expectations, set boundaries, remain calm during challenging situations, and follow KRE procedures and client post orders. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Additional hours may be available at other KRE client locations when this client does not require coverage.

Requirements

• Be comfortable speaking with people throughout the shift, including greeting people, answering questions, and communicating expectations.
• Be able to set boundaries and professionally tell people when their behavior is not permitted or when they need to leave, as appropriate to the situation and post orders.
• Remain calm, think clearly, and communicate effectively in unpredictable or challenging situations.
• Be reliable and show up for scheduled shifts.
• Be confident and professional.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence at the location.
• Interact professionally with customers and employees.
• Monitor activity and identify situations that may require attention.
• Address minor issues before they become bigger problems.
• Enforce site rules and security expectations professionally and confidently.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances or concerning behavior.
• Communicate with KRE and client representatives when situations arise.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Follow KRE procedures and client post orders.
