About The Position

The Fire Watch team monitors facility conditions to prevent fire hazards, ensures fire protection systems remain operational, and maintains accurate inspection and monitoring records. This role conducts hourly temperature checks at designated locations, records readings on the 86-03 Fire Watch Daily Log, and promptly identifies and reports abnormal temperature increases or potential fire hazards. When temperatures exceed established thresholds, the Fire Watch takes immediate corrective action, notifies supervisors and appropriate personnel, and assists with emergency procedures to protect people, equipment, and products. The role also maintains complete inspection records, follows company fire prevention procedures and applicable safety regulations, and reports hazards or deficiencies to management.

Responsibilities

• Follow company fire prevention procedures and applicable safety regulations.
• Communicate identified hazards, deficiencies, or concerns to management in a timely manner.
