As a Security Professional - Telecom Dispatch Operations in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and communications to coordinate security-related response and dispatch personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with all relevant parties.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and dispatches during the shift.
Operate and monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security-related technology to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Work collaboratively with on-site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as required by the situation.
Conduct regular status checks of security-related systems and equipment to confirm proper operation within the location.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific emergency protocols and provide information to clients and team members during incidents.
