About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the commercial real estate location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and dispatched activities according to site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as required to relay information and support incident response.
  • Conduct periodic system checks and report any malfunctions or irregularities in communication and alarm systems.
  • Support Allied Universal personnel by providing timely information and updates regarding incidents or ongoing situations at the location.
