About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the commercial real estate location.
Receive, prioritize, and coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and dispatched activities according to site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as required to relay information and support incident response.
Conduct periodic system checks and report any malfunctions or irregularities in communication and alarm systems.
Support Allied Universal personnel by providing timely information and updates regarding incidents or ongoing situations at the location.
