About The Position

As a Security Officer - Security Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor security-related systems and alarms, coordinate responses, and keep accurate incident logs while serving as a calm, professional point of contact. You will support routine patrol coordination and access control communications, helping teams act quickly and with integrity. This role fits someone who enjoys teamwork, problem solving, and delivering reliable service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or video surveillance; receive calls for service and dispatch officers and/or appropriate resources according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident documentation, and shift activity reports; communicate clear status updates to on-site personnel and supervisors.
  • Support security-related operations by tracking keys and/or credentials, verifying visitor and contractor information per site policy, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent monitoring and communication.
