As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Kailua Kona, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and embody Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, property-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as required.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
