As a Security Professional - Non-Driving in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government court location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, hallways, public areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor activity at assigned posts and help to support orderly operations by observing surroundings, verifying authorized access when appropriate, and documenting security-related events.
• Assist during emergency and/or evacuation situations by following post orders, communicating clearly with site contacts, and helping direct people according to established procedures.
