As a Security Officer Armed Driver Response in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting staff, patients, and visitors throughout the location.

Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable laws.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
