As a Security Patrol Officer for an Outdoor Mall in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s caring culture, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and tenant activity, and assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods, special events, and/or store opening and closing times.
• Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and daily activity.
