As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Mall Center in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor high-traffic areas and help to deter unauthorized activity, loitering, and/or disruptions while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with routine inquiries.
Communicate with site contacts, store personnel, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, customer service issues, and incident response activities.
