Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following security-related policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe visitor activity, support access control practices, and/or report policy violations, suspicious behavior, or unauthorized persons.
• Assist with crowd management, customer inquiries, and/or de-escalation of conflicts in a professional manner to help support an orderly shopping environment.
