About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will help monitor assigned areas through routine patrols and a primarily driving post presence. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication, and contribute to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with management and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe policy compliance, and provide directions or assistance to the public.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
